2019 Year in Review

2019: A Year in Review and A Look Ahead

2019 was another great year for Secure Exchange Solutions! As we look back on 2019, we are thrilled to acknowledge the growth and positive impact our clinical data exchange solutions are making in the industry.

We are especially proud to be working with new customers at leading health systems and HIEs such as the Beth Israel Lahey Health and the Highland Healthcare Independent Physicians Association (IPA) network, the North Carolina Health Information Exchange Authority (NC HIEA), the Nebraska Health Information Initiative (NEHII), and the Great Lakes Health Connect (GLHC) to solve their clinical information exchange challenges and help them improve efficiencies.

Another 2019 milestone was the launch of our expanded suite of HIPAA compliant clinical exchange solutions, notably our newest, solutions SPOT and FETCH. Both solutions are powered by advanced technologies designed to cost-effectively move our customers toward faster, more accurate clinical decision-making to improve the quality of care for patients. SPOT delivers real-time critical insights to quickly inform care decision-making, reducing administrative burdens, especially for prior authorizations. FETCH automates clinical data exchange to improve medical record retrieval for prior authorizations, medical review and care management, claim attachments, risk adjustment, HEDIS, and Star Measures. Both solutions demonstrate significant savings of time and money.

Additional 2019 highlights include:

Recognized for Technology Innovation – SES was named in the CIO Review 2019 Top 50 Most Promising Health Solution Providers for technology innovation in clinical data exchange and delivering practical solutions to payers and providers that improve efficiencies, reduce costs and better meet standards for patient-centered care.

New Partnerships Expand Footprint – SES is collaborating with The Louisiana Healthcare Quality Forum to enhance the state’s current patient record protocol, enabling hundreds of facilities within its network to securely transmit and easily access vital patient clinical care information, making it easy for providers to more effectively coordinate care, ensure patient compliance, and streamline procedures. Also, SES established a UK-based partnership with IMS MAXIMS, offering mobile, secure and cost-effective provider-to-provider and provider-to-patient communication solutions to NHS organizations, GP practices, and patients.

Gartner Research Note References – Secure Exchange Solutions was named by Gartner in four Research Notes in 2019.
